Reach every parent03 / 11
Sending the message is easy. Sending it to exactly the right parents is not.
Every school can send a notice to everybody. Rather fewer can send it only to the parents of Class 9 girls taking Biology whose fees are clear, which is the message that actually needed sending.
The problem today
Narrowing the list means building the list, so nobody narrows it.
- Messages go to everybody, because narrowing the list means building the list.
- The list is built from an export that is two weeks old.
- Nobody knows who actually received what.
- A slow provider holds up the whole send, or silently drops part of it.
- Fee reminders and school notices come from different systems, so nobody can see everything a parent was sent.

What EduBold changes
You describe who should get it, and the list builds itself.
Campaigns, not blasts
A communication is a campaign with a lifecycle: schedule it, activate it, start it, pause it, resume it, complete it. Cancel it mid-flight if it was wrong.
The system calculates exactly who it reaches, from the school records as they are today rather than from an exported list. You describe who should get it; you do not keep a list.
Delivery that does not lose things
Messages wait in line rather than going out one at a time, so a slow provider cannot hold up the rest of the school.
A message that fails is tried again, without resending to everyone who already got it. Anything that cannot be delivered at all is set aside where you can see it, rather than disappearing quietly. A message still waiting, or a whole campaign, can be stopped before it lands.
Templates that know the recipient
Templates carry variables, so a message is personalised per parent rather than addressed to “Dear Parent”.
Links that do work, not just links
Magic links handle the actions that matter: setting a password, accepting an invitation, verifying an email, accepting an admission offer. They can be generated, resent, and revoked when something goes wrong.
It is already carrying the school’s real messages
Fee reminders with their per-bill delivery log. Admission email verification and offer notifications. Payslip delivery to staff. These are not future integrations. They are what the module already does for the rest of the product.
The channels
Email and push notification, to an audience the records build.
Push goes through Firebase with device registration, so a parent who has the portal open on a phone gets it there.
The value is the audience, not the channel. Every guardian of a child in class 8 with fees outstanding is calculated from the records as they stand. It is a selection, not a spreadsheet somebody keeps up to date by hand.
Tell us how you reach parents today and we will show you what this replaces.

For the management committee
The governance value here is the record rather than the reach.
Documents and document logs show what was sent and to whom. Reminder logs are per bill and per student. When a parent says they were never told, there is an answer.

Half an hour, on the problems your school actually has. Bring the thing your current system cannot do, and you will watch EduBold run it against your own rules before you decide anything.
