How long
EduBold has been built, and rebuilt, since 2012.
School software is bought about once every seven or eight years, so the question underneath every demonstration is whether the company will still be here at the end of it. Indivar Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd. was incorporated in February 2009. The school product started in 2012 and has had the same team on it since.
That is not a claim about quality. It is a claim about the number of Marches this software has been through, each one with a school closing its books and a payroll that had to be right.
2012
The first version. Students, staff and classes on one set of records.

Why it is shaped this way
We built the accounting first, and made everything else post into it.
Most school software is a student database with modules attached. Fees are one module, accounts are another, and between them is a person with a spreadsheet reconciling two systems that were never designed to agree.
That decision is why a fee receipt is already a journal entry, why a finalised payroll run appears in the ledger, and why the finance report and the accounts cannot drift apart.
It also made the first two years considerably harder than the alternative.
How we sell
Ask the hard question in the demonstration. You will get a real answer.
The call is run by somebody who knows the code, so a question about your fee rules or your ledger gets answered there, not taken away and returned a week later.
School software is bought about once every seven or eight years, and the relationship outlives the sale by a long way. So we would rather spend an extra half hour on your fee rules in the first conversation than have you discover something in month two.
Bring your hardest case. That is the half hour worth having.
Who builds it
Two founders, and a team you will meet before you buy.
The people who built the accounting are the people who answer the phone about it. There is no reseller between you and us, and no account manager who has to check with engineering.

Inderjeet co-founded Indivar in 2009 and runs the company. Much of his work has been ERP work and GST compliance for Indian businesses, which is where EduBold gets its approach to statutory reporting.
Varinder Singh
Co-founder and chief technology officer
Varinder co-founded Indivar in 2009 and leads the building of it. He has spent more than thirty years as an enterprise architect, across banking, insurance, government and healthcare, in India, the United States, Australia and New Zealand.
Who you get
The half-hour demonstration is run by somebody who can answer a question about the ledger without leaving the call.
